Jason “KC Bandit” High is on a 6-0 win streak since August 2010. His background as an NCAA Division I wrestler for the University of Nebraska laid the foundation for his ground game, which is strengthened by his Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills, honed during a semester studying abroad  in Costa Rica in 2005. The instructor there was so impressed with his wrestling, he offered him free jiu jitsu lessons in exchange for wrestling lessons.
High opened an MMA gym in Leawood, Kansas, with fellow fighter L.C. Davis in October 2011, offering the highest level of MMA instruction in the Kansas City metro.
High grew up in Independence, MO, wrestling for Blue Springs High School, which won the state wrestling championships his senior year. He lives in Overland Park, KS, with his significant other Ann and toddler
daughter Jaelyn.

    hey man i just wanted to say good luck on your up coming fight in the ufc, i myself am from kc as well and getting my feet wet in mma, not to do it for fun but to take it to the next level like you have, its nice to see someone from home is making the best out of the chance they are given, take care and good luck again
